Franc D’Ambrosio: Still singing the music of the night

He was awarded the distinction of being “The World’s Longest Running Phantom” — a title he retained for a decade — after logging more than 2,600 performances as the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera.” This feat also earned him the affectionate moniker of “The Iron Man of the Mask.”
